What we collect
When you apply for a job, register with us, or request talent, we collect the information you give us: your name, email, phone number, company name, messages, and any resume you upload. Our website does not collect information about you in the background beyond standard server logs.
Why we collect it
One purpose: matching workers with employers. We use candidate information to screen, contact, and place you in roles, and employer information to understand and fill your staffing request. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Candidate profiles are shared with employers only as part of a placement conversation. When a placement involves immigration steps, relevant information is shared with our parent organization, Big Bang Immigration, so both parts of the process move together. We use trusted service providers to store data (Supabase for records, Microsoft OneDrive for resumes), and they process it only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate and employer records while they are active and for as long as reasonably needed afterward for follow-up placements and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@sbrstaffing.ca or call 416-386-5351 and we will respond within a reasonable time, as required by Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
